Our Care App is used by carers to evidence care for service users.
The Care App is specifically designed to give carers more time to spend with service users. As daily records are written with a few taps on the device, the entire shift can be spent delivering care. With less paperwork to complete, care staff are under less pressure and service users receive a better quality of care.

Is the Care App suitable for my home?
Yes. Our Care App is suitable for all residential social care providers and is in use at hundreds of dementia, nursing, residential, learning disability and mental health providers across the UK. Mobile Care Monitoring is scalable for care home groups, and delivers just as many benefits to single site care homes. A reliable WiFi connection and download speed of 2 Mbps or above is only necessity to have the Care App working in your care home.
How does the Care App work?
The Care App has been designed to provide the carer with everything they need to know about the service users that they care for, and to easily evidence every interaction they have with them. Every carer can see what other carers are doing during their shift. Flags are shown to indicate if important actions are overdue or about to be missed, which ensures that important care interventions are not missed. As care is evidenced as it is delivered, all carers also can see exactly what happened before they came on shift.
To ensure that service users receive the care they need, planned care routines are set up, with personal preferences able to be logged for each care interaction for how the service user likes their care to be delivered. The system also automatically learns the unplanned care that each service user regularly receives, displays when it is the service user’s birthday and has a diary for recording appointments to see health specialists, outings and visitors.
‘I have peace of mind, and carers have more time to spend with residents. The system enables the care staff to build a better understanding of each patient and to provide a person centred approach.’Monika Gillice
Simple to record
Completing a care intervention is quick and simple. However, care does not always go to plan, and there are many options to change any aspect of the intervention so that it accurately reflects the care that was required, such as deferring care and logging if the service users have declined, refused or are not present for care.
Care staff can use the devices to can scan service users’ QR codes for night checks in residential locations, or for the start and finish times of a visit within supported living care. This provides evidence of care staff being at a specific location at a specific time.
Crucial information in hands at point of delivery
There are a comprehensive set of measurements from height and weight that produces a BMI chart, to blood pressure, blood sugar and temperature that can be recorded on the carers’ devices, and are shown in graphs on the device. Care plans, risks to be aware of and emergency contact details are also readily on hand, as are past care interventions to keep give carers all the information they need at their fingertips at all times.
If you have chosen to buy your own devices it is easy to download the Care App in the App Store or Google Play. You will need to enrol the Care App to your organisation and location using your login details for Mobile Care Monitoring.
Please bear in mind that we have verified the application works on the current versions of Android and Apple, if you have older devices then they may not be suitable. Please also be aware that the first time this application is loaded it has to download onto the device a large number of icons in order for the device to operate offline. This can take several minutes, depending on your internet connection speed, so please be patient when first logging in.

Setting up the system requires inputting no more than a few pieces of information for staff and service users. Service users are placed into any number of totally flexible communities, onto which is overlaid comprehensive staff-based security, ensuring people can only see the individuals they should. Mobile Care Monitoring is only available to authorised users via a username and password so it is easy to see who has delivered care and no one can impersonate anyone else. You are responsible for authorising staff, relatives and other agencies to access the data, using the system to control access. Care notes can only be voided by people with the correct security access, they cannot be entered retrospectively or voided by the person who entered them.
