We are helping Rose Lawn Care Home and Little Gaynes Rest Home to celebrate Care Home Open Day 2018 on Saturday 21st April. We’ll be sharing highlights from Care
Little Gaynes Rest Home in Upminster is opening its doors to the public for Care Home Open Day on Saturday 21 April between 2.00pm and 4.00pm. The home is celebrating the 92nd birthday of Stanley (Mick) Mills – and being born in 1926, Mick shares the same birthday and year as Queen Elizabeth II.
Rose Lawn Care Home, a Keychange Community in Sidmouth, is opening its doors to the public for Care Home Open Day on Saturday 21 April between 10.00am and 5.00pm. The home is also celebrating the 92nd birthday of Diana Davis – and being born in 1926, Diana shares the same birthday and year as Queen Elizabeth II.
Jonathan Papworth, Co-Founder and Director of Person Centred Software says: “We’re delighted to be supporting Little Gaynes and Rose Lawn on Care Home Open Day. Our innovative mobile solution for evidencing care interactions and care planning is helping the carers at Little Gaynes to have more time to care rather than spend loads of time on paperwork and admin.”
Now in its 6th year, Care Home Open Day is an initiative run by Care England alongside Person Centred Software, CommonAge and NAPA. Last year over 2,568 care homes across the UK took part and opened their doors to the public. This year, the plan is to build on past success by emphasising the importance of care homes connecting with local communities, developing relationships and encouraging intergenerational rapport.
