Driving Outstanding Care

About us

Person Centred Software was started in 2013 with the objective of helping to improve the quality of life for people in social care.

With an ageing population and large-scale recruitment challenges, this is one of the burning issues of our time and improvement cannot happen quickly enough.

With over 20 years’ experience developing technology for the care sector we know passion creates the best opportunity for real change – and the founders continue to stay at the helm of the business to help drive digital development in the sector.

Our company has become an award-winning global company launching in Australia in 2018 and Ireland in 2019. Amongst numerous industry awards Person Centred Software was also placed on the Sunday Times Tech Track 100 and top 10 SME in Digital Leaders 100 in 2020 and Deloitte Tech Fast 50 list in 2019. In addition our new coronavirus-specific features were recognised at the Health Tech Digital Awards 2020 for Best COVID-19 Software Solution.

Our Mission, Vision and Values

Our Mission

To lead in improving systems used in social care globally through the use of innovative technology

Our Vision

Harness technology to improve the lives of everybody involved in social care

Our Values

Nurturing, supporting and empowering

Our Objectives

  • In social care the primary objective has to be to improve the quality of life for everyone being cared for, but we believe this should extend to the people providing the care as well
  • Carers do their job because they love caring for people, so why wrap them up in admin work, writing daily records of what they do? We aim to make the admin fit in with the care routine, not the other way round
  • And service users – what do these people really want? Surely they want to be comfortable, safe, and above all, happy. So we measure their happiness, making it the core of the product we provide

Our Products

  • Our products are designed to be in the hands of the carers, rather than in a nursing station or office
  • The system is easy to use, fast, and icon driven with limited need for typing
  • Allied with ease of use is the system’s communication capabilities; up, down and across an organisation
  • Carer to nurse communication happens with automated escalation of important care interventions; nurse to carer communication with care plans, planned care routines and shift handover notes; carer to carer communication with service user preferences, flags for overdue care, and happiness indicators
  • We have also extended the system’s communication capabilities to include a service user’s social network. This allows everyone involved with a service user’s life – family, friends and additional care providers – to engage with their care

All this added together makes a unique solution to a very simple objective: to improve the life of everyone involved in social care
