23 Outstanding Homes

We are thrilled to now have 23 Outstanding rated homes using Mobile Care Monitoring. 5% of our customers have received a top rated inspection report, compared with 2% in all services in England.

In August four more care homes using MCM have been awarded an Outstanding CQC rating. Two Southern Healthcare homes, The Old Rectory Nursing Home and Sefton Hall, both achieved Outstanding in 4 of 5 CQC's key questions - effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Both The Old Rectory Nursing Home and Sefton Hall improved their ratings from Good to Outstanding.

Silverleigh and Sohal Healthcare, The Haven have also achieved an Outstanding rating for the first time since using our system.

Mobile Care Monitoring was cited in The Old Rectory's CQC inspection report:

‘People’s records showed contemporaneous records of the care provided by staff and staff were observed throughout the day updating records. Staff used a comprehensive computer care planning programme and updated care records using electronic tablets… Care plans included routines and preferences and there were separate care plans for day and night routines. An example of preferences include what the person’s usual routine was, any likes or dislikes and what was important to them.’

There was excellent communication about people’s needs with staff signing electronic shift handovers covering the previous 72 hours.’

In the last 9 months 5 care homes in Devon have gained an Outstanding rating since using Mobile Care Monitoring: Keychange Charity Rose Lawn Care Home, Thornfield, Silverleigh, The Old Rectory Nursing Home and Sefton Hall.
