‘The provider used an electronic care call recording system to assist management to monitor the care that staff had or had not provided. Any aspects of care that were not recorded were investigated. In situations where an internet phone signal was not available the information uploaded the next time staff obtained such a signal.’

‘One person told us, “They [staff] always fill in the care records on their phones [provider’s electronic recording software] when they come to see me.” In addition, staff had mobile phones which they could use to contact the registered manager.’
