Finance Manager

The main focus is to manage the day to day finance function, reporting into the directors and assisting the management team in decision making, with a view to grow into head of finance.

Duties Include:

  • Managing a team of 2 direct reports
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, purchase ledger, sales ledger and other transactions such as payroll
  • Oversee and monitor cashflow
  • On occasion assisting the team day to day to resolve queries and cover workloads
  • Processing VAT returns
  • Review financial data and prepare monthly management accounts and forecasts including all month end reconciliations and journals
  • Prepare the annual budgets with the directors and management team
  • Work with outside services for tax preparation, banking, and other financial needs as necessary
  • Track the company’s financial performance to identify areas for potential improvement
  • Provide insightful information and expectations to the management team to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
  • Preparation of year end annual reports for submission
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company as the company grows and develops
  • Assist the company in its expansion and development overseas

Skills and Qualifications

  • Educated to degree standard
  • Professional qualification – CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Several years of experience including some within an SME environment
  • An eye for detail
  • Good leadership skills and employee management
  • Understanding of data privacy standards
  • Good understanding of business principles and practices
  • Integrity, honesty, reliable, organised and self-motivated
  • Be able to work in a small team environment but develop the team as the company grows
  • Knowledge of cloud based accountancy solutions
  • To be able continually review and improve processes and procedures aiming to add efficiencies

Events Coordinator

Are you an experienced Events Coordinator looking for your next challenge? We are looking for an Events Coordinator to join our busy sales and marketing team and manage an extensive programme of events. You’ll ensure the events are extremely well organised and attended and will maximise our return on investment.

We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas and the organisational skills required to not leave anything about an event to chance.

Person Centred Software is an international, award winning software company and market leaders in the social care sector. The role is based at our Headquarters in Guildford, Surrey.

Main Responsibilities

  • Day to day administration of the events programme
  • Act as a central point of contact for all events related enquiries
  • Book venues, negotiate and approve contracts as appropriate
  • Event planning and logistics
  • Working to a budget
  • Collateral management including sending of brochures, exhibition stands and presentations to and from events
  • Presentation formatting
  • Pre-event promotion
  • Post-event evaluation
  • Use of our CRM system, Hubspot, to generate leads from events
  • Attendance at events (travel and overnight stays will be required)

Graduate Software Developer

We are looking to add a graduate developer our small and friendly development team.

We operate an Agile development process with Test Driven Development using Microsoft Visual Studio .NET and Team Foundation Services as our core development tool-set.

You will be given opportunity to work on varied projects in a small development team in a progressive company with plenty of mentoring and support. You will be assigned both small and large projects ranging from existing codebase enhancements, code and query optimisations, unit testing, bug hunting/fixing and new feature design, implementation & rollouts.

Our development team utilise a certain skill-set on a daily basis, including:

  • C#
  • ASP.NET (either MVC or WebForms)
  • Entity Framework ● Microsoft Visual Studio .NET
  • JavaScript & jQuery (or similar)
  • CSS 3+
  • Source Control (TFS, GIT, Subversion, etc…)

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Angular Framework
  • LUA Scripting
  • Server Server & T-SQL
  • Mobile development in Apple/Android/Xamarin
  • Cloud Technologies (preferably Azure)
  • Redis or other distributed caching
  • .NET Core WebSockets / SignalR

We are proud of having a team of expert developers, and we operate development mainly from our Belfast office, but can accommodate people working from home or part of a week. Our development environment is based on C# within Azure infrastructure, with the front end having a plethora of web and mobile technologies.
