PainChek® Clinical Studies

The technology driving PainChek was born out of academic study at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. As part of its development, the technology has been clinically validated to ensure its effectiveness. The published articles indicate that PainChek®, previously known as ePAT, is a valid and reliable pain assessment tool for people with moderate to severe dementia, who can no longer self-report their pain and that it offers significant advantages over the current pain assessment methods.
