Following the establishment of the ‘Care Software Providers Association’ back in March 2019, the founding members of CASPA are delighted to announce that membership has reached a total of 50 software providers within the health and social care sector.

The CASPA Founders, including Person Centred Software's Director, Robin Wells, are delighted to announce the 50 strong membership, which will open up further opportunity and allow the Board to continue to develop relationships with key stakeholders in the industry such as NHSX, NHS Digital, Care Providers Alliance, Care Quality Commission and Digital Social Care. CASPA is lobbying for the acceleration of digital transformation in social care and aims to do so by representing software suppliers as one single voice, thereby ensuring key stakeholders in the industry are positioning their messaging, legislation and regulation in line with the move towards the wider use of digital systems.

CASPA is a UK based independent, not-for-profit association representing the views and interests of social care software providers. The association promotes the continued growth of the use of digital technologies, and thus the transparency of care being provided, within the social care sector. CASPA seeks to improve the flow of digital information between social care and other parties, in particular, the NHS. CASPA
strives to influence legislation and regulatory guidelines within the industry and promote standards where such standards do not currently exist.

Membership is available to companies involved in the provision of software to the care sector. Members of CASPA benefit from having a central point of contact on issues facing the industry and the association will represent members when bringing suggestions to the government and other industry bodies.
