In response to the outbreak of COVID-19 Person Centred Software released it’s Relatives Gateway platform to all residential aged care facilities free of charge for three months. The Relatives Gateway is a secure communications tool that has helped to keep the dialogue between staff and residents open with loved ones. The Gateway was inbuilt into Person Centred Software’s suite of products and comes at no additional cost to customers using Person Centred Software as their clinical software provider. **T****ammy Sherwood, CEO at Person Centred Software** said “We saw an opportunity to provide a solution to our community and we went for it. The fear of what is unknown has been highlighted by the coronavirus pandemic. When people are able find a new routine, it becomes easier for them to adjust and regulate their expectations. Facilities who hope to inspire confidence in their residents and the relatives of those residents need to find new ways to provide connectivity and greater visibility at this time.
