Easily collect and submit your consumer experience and quality of life indicator data

Residential aged care providers must collect data on certain quality indicators no later than the 21st day of the month after the end of each quarter through the Department of Health and Aged Care's My Aged Care service provider portal. Our platform helps to simplify this process by generating quick full-proof reports and allowing for easy collection of consumer feedback - this helps providers promptly submit their 'Consumer Experience' and 'Quality of Life' data. The National Aged Care Mandatory Quality Indicator Program (QI Program) currently requires residential aged care providers to report on crucial areas of care to support quality improvement and better health outcomes for older Australians.

Quality Indicator Survey tools to assess and monitor the quality of care provided to older adults are essential in residential aged care. These surveys help identify areas of improvement and ensure that the necessary standards are met in various aspects of aged care services.

The two new Quality Indicators that Centrim Life’s Operations Management Software can handle within the Feedback and Quality Management feature are:

  • Consumer Experience Survey
  • Quality of Life Survey
The results of these surveys can then be analysed to identify areas of strength and areas that require improvement, enabling the development of targeted action plans to enhance the overall quality of care.

So, what are some of the functionalities that Centrim Life's operations management software can help you with regarding collecting and submitting your QI data?

  • The above surveys are automatically created within the platform at the start of each quarter, and the surveys get closed by the due date.
  • The system also shows an overview list of active or inactive residents in that quarter via integration with Person Centred Software’s Clinical Care System.
  • Ability to send surveys straight to a primary contact, individually email the URL or place the URL on a tablet for easy resident surveying and easy inputting of answers given through paper.
  • Effortless printing for either resident, proxy or interviewer view.
  • Ability to mark contacts if they are away within a certain period, if they have declined or if you have resent the survey URL to contacts again.
  • Excellent reporting ability - gain information quickly around the answers given and scoring from residents.
  • Ability to generate graphical or list view reports of the survey results automatically and allowing you to be able to compare results of various quarters.
  • Generates QI values required for reporting on My Aged Care and exportable Excel reports, as per the official ACQSC template, where providers can upload the report straight to the My Aged Care service and support portal.
