Mobile Care Monitoring featured in video case study with Samsung

We’ve created a short video case study with Samsung about our customer, Oaktree Court Care Home, part of the Majesticare group.

We provide robust Samsung Galaxy Xcover 4 smartphone devices to many of our customers. It was brilliant to work closely with Samsung on this case study and show how we provide Mobile Care Monitoring as a software and hardware package to residential care homes across the country.

Best Device for Care Homes

For us at Person Centred Software, it’s important that, alongside the system designed for care homes, that the devices we provide to our customers are the best fit for a care environment.

Samsung Xcover 4’s are water-resistant, lightweight and robust. This means that they work well for recording care on-the-go and can even survive an accidental splashing in wet areas!

With vital stats recorded in real-time on the water-resistant X-cover 4 smartphones, data can now be analysed to help prevent illnesses and improve patient wellbeing. Results at some homes show a 33% reduction in falls, which has significantly reduced the number of subsequent hospital admissions.

Secure Device to Record Care

All the devices we provide to our customers are ‘locked down’ so care staff can only use the MCM Care App and activities staff can only use the MCM Activities App. This means that there’s no chance staff can use the device for browsing websites or social media. The devices are also tracked, so we know their location if they ever go missing.

Watch the video on our YouTube channel and read the case study to find out more about the benefits Oaktree Court Care Home had from implementing Mobile Care Monitoring on Samsung devices.
