Digitising social care fund: February events

The UK health and social care secretary has set a government target to have 80% of all registered care providers adopt a Digital Social Care Record (DSCR), such as Person Centred Software's Digital Care System, by 2024. 

Registered care providers can now apply for grant funding from their local Integrated Care System (ICS). Person Centred Software is working in partnership with the Integrated Care Systems (ICS) across England to help you access funding and transition from paper to digital.

In February, there are several events across England (in person and remote) where ICSs will provide details about the funding and how to access it. Person Centred Software will be at these events to support and provide you with all the information you need about digital care planning and our other digital care products.

Birmingham and Solihull ICS - In Person Care Provider Engagement Event

When: 2nd February 2023 at 10am - 4pm 

Where: The Savoy Jeff Bonser Suite, Bescot Stadium, Bescot Crescent, Walsall, West Midlands, WS1 4SA

Who can attend? Care providers based in the Black Country, Birmingham and Solihull area of England 

The Birmingham and Solihull ICS is working with Person Centred Software to provide a face-to-face event to hear more about the funding program and have the opportunity to speak to digital care providers who are on the assured supplier list such as Person Centred Software.

Sessions will be running throughout the day and when booking you will be able to choose your session time.

Lincolnshire ICS - Remote Care Provider Engagement Event

When: 2nd February 2023 at 10am - 11am  (1 Hour)

Location: Microsoft Teams  

Who can attend? Care providers across England

Lincolnshire Care Association is working with Person Centred Software to host six webinars on Microsoft Teams for care providers across England to learn about adopting a digital care record and how to access funding to support digital adoption. Each hourly webinar will showcase a different supplier. 

Hampshire & Isle of White - In Person Care Provider Engagement Event

When: 8th February 2023 at 9am - 2pm  

Location: Kings Community Church, Upper Northam Road, Hedge End, SO30 4BZ

Who can attend?

Hampshire Care Association is in partnership with HIOW IC and Person Centred Software to take you through your digital Journey. All the action will be taking place in the large Cedar Hall at Kings Community Church at Hedge End.

Speakers such as Chris Gunner from Quality & Safeguarding Lead for North & Mid Hampshire and Mark Sutton for CQC will be giving great information to enhance your knowledge and compliance of your service including

South East London ICS - In Person Care Provider Engagement Event

When: 15th February 2023 at 10am - 5pm  

Location: Coin Street Neighbourhood Centre, 108 Stamford Street, London SE1 9NH

Who can attend? 

South East London is working with Person Centred Software to provide a face-to-face event to hear more about the funding program and have the opportunity to speak to digital care providers who are on the assured supplier list such as Person Centred Software.

West Yorkshire and Harrogate Health and Care Partnership - Remote 

When: TBC February 2023 at 10am - 12pm (2 hours)

Location: TBC

Who can attend? Care providers across West Yorkshire and Harrogate 

West Yorkshire, Harrogate Health and Care Partnership are working with Person Centred Software to provide a series of 2 hour online workshops for local care providers to learn more about digital care planning and how going digital improves care outcomes. Care providers will be able to find out information around costs and get support with their decision making before planned implementation by March 2024.
