Runwood Homes is introducing Mobile Care Monitoring (MCM) in all its services. MCM is being gradually rolled out across the group’s 70 care and nursing homes in the UK.
Business Operations Director, Sarah Sanders, quoted in Care Home Professional, said: “We are delighted to be working with Person Centred Software to implement a new digital care plan system at Runwood Homes. Providing our carers with an instant-access, easy-to-use system will enable more time to be spent giving care and spending quality time with our residents.
“Mobile Care Monitoring will encourage staff to record care delivery in more detail due to its ease of use, and will also ensure all staff members are well-informed of every residents care support at the tap of a button, which is really positive for team unity.”
Co-founder of Person Centred Software, Jonathan Papworth, said: “We are delighted that Runwood Homes understood the benefits that Mobile Care Monitoring provides during their partner selection process.
“Mobile Care Monitoring is being implemented at 50 homes every month across the UK, providing customers with improved quality of care, massive time savings and transparency of information across the organisation. We look forward to continuing to work with Runwood Homes and are confident that the roll-out across the remaining estate will be achieved as rapidly as Runwood desire.”
Mobile Care Monitoring helps services improve their quality of care. The system was recognised with a ‘High Commendation’ award at the Care Home Awards 2018 for its contribution to improving services. 42 care homes using MCM are currently rated Outstanding, including Belong Atherton and Oaklands Kingfisher Court.
Mobile Care Monitoring is in use at 850 care homes in the UK and recently launched in Australia and New Zealand.
