Find out how mCare integrates seamlessly into a host of other products

If you’re interested in switching to mCare, our digital care planning system, but you’re wondering or even concerned about how it might impact the use of your other systems, then you needn’t worry, because there are many integration options to choose from by investing in mCare. 

There are many other products focusing on areas of care that integrate with mCare. For example, ATLAS eMAR, our medication management system, benefits from a very simple integration that means you can pull resident data through and use it in care notes.  

How the integration works 

ATLAS eMAR’s integration with mCare allows you to map your residents within both systems and give you the opportunity to see which residents are missing. Medication recorded on ATLAS eMAR will then periodically pull through to mCare and can be seen in the form of care notes. These care notes include details such as the name of the medication, the dosage, time given and reasons for medication not being given.  

Medication recorded will also pull through to the eMAR data and when clicked on, it will display that the medication has been pulled through from the integration. This will display the same information when clicking on the medication within the resident’s profile in mCare.  

This integration can be set up in just a few simple steps and will mean that you will have access to the same information on medication across the two systems. And even if you do not use ATLAS eMAR, mCare integrates with other medication management systems, ensuring simplicity and user-friendly functionality. 

Integrations with mCare and wellness platforms 

To ensure a completely holistic approach to the wellbeing of those living in care homes, there is also an integration between mCare and the Oomph! Wellness and Activities Platform. Staff can record resident activities and engagement in either system, and the data will automatically be pulled through into the other. This not only eliminates the need for duplicate entries, which saves time, but it also helps to reduce errors in the creation of accurate care notes.

Engaging with family 

If you already use the Resident Experience Tool, formally known as ResHub, then you can benefit from a host of opportunities for families to engage with their loved ones through an integration with mCare. Rather than having to juggle many different platforms, through the Family Engagement Module of mCare, families can access their loved ones’ care information in real-time, giving care services an easy-to-use portal for managing family members. 

This is a fully integrated hub that provides a centralised platform offering a wide array of benefits for all parties involved.

Improving staffing levels 

You might be thinking about how you can integrate any staffing solutions with mCare too; if you switch to mCare, also available will be the Staffing and Dependency tool, which seamlessly integrates resident data on both systems. This is a stand-alone product, but by integrating it with mCare you can realise so many more benefits because staff data can be pulled through from mCare to the Staffing and Dependency tool, meaning you don’t have to input data twice.
