Inspection Report

‘Staff were able to access people’s individual needs on electronic handsets and generally see the support they required to stay safe. People’s care records included risk assessments, which were reviewed regularly and covered areas related to people’s health, safety, care and welfare. Care plans and associated risk assessments identified any changes in risks to people’s health and wellbeing. In most cases, we saw the care plans provided clear guidance to staff in respect of minimising risk.’

‘Staff were given prompts on the electronic handsets when people required drinks and to address people’s needs. This was a useful reminder to staff to ensure people were offered frequent fluids or snacks throughout the day.’
