Adult Social Care Digital Transformation Fund

The NHS Transformation Directorate is giving £25 million in funding to ICSs throughout 2022/2023 to support CQC registered adult social care providers in adopting technology to transform care.

The fund will support adult social care providers to adopt a Digital Social Care Record (Digital care planning system), ensuring that care providers can access accurate information instantly, allowing them to provide better care.

The funding will also support the adoption of other care technologies based on local needs.

In addition, the funding provided will typically cover at least 50% of your first-year costs for licensing and training.

Over 122,000 beds already implemented for digital care planning and eMAR
Over 3,500 new beds implemented for digital care planning and eMAR each and every month
Over 30,000 beds live on GP connect already connected
Enabling access and sharing data with Shared Care Records
The first to pass a digital eRedbag from our care system in the home into the ambulance and hospital system
Compliant with PRSB “Who I am” standard and named in the working group
