Warwickshire care home wins #GladtoCare competition

Galanos Lodge in Warwickshire, part of the Royal British Legion group, has been crowned winner of a competition raising awareness of the importance of reminiscence therapy.

Launched by Person Centred Software in the summer, with support from InteractiveMe and Sporting Memories, the competition asked care homes to provide their residents’ favourite memories.

Galanos Lodge won a tablet and three profiles on InteractiveMe’s bespoke app for reminiscence for a resident’s entertaining memory of the mishaps that happened to him and his wife on the way to church for a double wedding with his wife’s sister and her fiancé.
