DepenSys has been shortlisted for Tomorrow’s Care Awards 2025

DepenSys, Person Centred Software’s staffing and dependency tool, has been shortlisted for the 2025 Tomorrow’s Care Awards! 

We are very pleased to announce that DepenSys, our tool that transforms the staffing and dependency of care homes, has been shortlisted for an award in the prestigious Tomorrow’s Care Awards. 

The Tomorrow’s Care Awards celebrate the most innovate products and services in the care industry, so we are very proud that they have recognised the achievements of DepenSys, which seeks to improve the quality of life for those living and working in care by providing care homes with the data they need to make informed decisions on staffing allocation and resident dependency.

How does DepenSys work?  

Managers can input information on staffing numbers, the number of beds a care home has, and the dependency of each resident which is categorised in various criteria. DepenSys then pulls all this information together and gives you as a care home the number you need to reach to know you are providing safe staffing levels to achieve good care outcomes. DepenSys is especially useful in Scotland where new legislation, called the Health and Care (Staffing) (Scotland) Act 2019, has been introduced that means care home operators must ensure that there are sufficient levels of staff hours and staff experience to provide good levels of care.
