The CQC inspection report published in May 2018 specifies that the care home achieved Outstanding levels in 4 of 5 key questions – Effective, Caring, Responsive and Well-Led. In the previous year, Belong Atherton Care Village implemented the Mobile Care Monitoring software to evidence care electronically and makes it much easier for both staff and family members to access accurate information when they need it.
Julie Washington, the general manager of Belong Care Atherton Village says: "We are continuously looking for ways to improve our practice at Belong Atherton and one of the major innovations over the past year has been the introduction of the digital platform for care planning and recording information. Tablet-based recording in a live environment means we are capturing some really lovely moments of care and activity that may have otherwise been missed on paper. The inspectors witnessed the benefits of this and it has contributed to the wider picture of innovative and outstanding care practice across the village."
Belong Atherton Care Village joins 33 other Outstanding rated care homes using Mobile Care Monitoring. The intelligent mobile solution is used for evidencing care interactions, electronic care planning and reporting. It improves the lives of everyone in social care and drives outstanding care in the industry through innovative tools.
Jonathan Papworth, Co-Founder and Director of Person Centred Software says: “Congratulations to Belong Atherton Care Village for achieving an Outstanding rating from CQC. Our innovative mobile solution for evidencing care interactions and care planning is helping their staff to have more time to care for people rather than spend loads of time on paperwork and admin.”
