We were delighted to sponsor the Care Workers Charity and take part in the Snowdon at Night fundraising trek to help raise £42,000 to support care workers.
In June, Marie Hawkes-Smith and Raj Kumar from Person Centred Software joined over 100 people from the social care and walked overnight up Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, to raise money for the charity.
Maire and Raj had an “amazing experience” trekking up Snowdon and the sponsored walk raised £42,000 for the charity. From 2018-2019 the Care Workers Charity was Person Centred Software’s charity of the year. The charity supports current and former care workers with one-off crisis grants. In 2018 the Care Workers Charity awarded over £150,000 in grants to almost 400 care workers.
