Alongside residents, staff and visitors, Digital Reception also has People Profiles for contractors and industry professionals.
The profile ‘other’ remains in case there is an additional category required. All the analysis graphs have been updated to include these People Profiles.
The Digital Reception’s feedback is fully configurable and can map to regulatory requirements, such as CQC. Any number of feedback questions can be asked, with responses of Yes/No, a choice of one to 5 stars, or the option to enter any amount of text.
The terminals (hardware devices, such as iPads or tablets) can continue operating in the event of a power or internet failure due to supporting a comprehensive off-line infrastructure and storing the data on the terminal whilst off-line.
The system is administered via an easy-to-use interface that provides valuable statistical feedback in addition to setting up the configuration for the terminals.
All locations can be configured centrally, with the terminals automatically updating when the configuration is changed.
Each location can support any number of devices, and each device can be configured to allow any number of different profiles of people. In addition, the system shows the information for a location with a clear analysis of usage, so it’s easy to spot any terminal that is not online or has not been recently used.
The configuration is based on profiles, which are types of people, and these contain numerous configurable elements to ensure maximum flexibility.
Each profile is linked to any of the feedback types; for example, visitors can be asked for feedback about the home, whereas staff can be asked how their day was or be instructed that there is an event that they need to be aware of, like a fire drill.
The analysis dashboard enables an overview of feedback across all locations and exports of the information captured at the terminals.
The option to import information from other systems can be set up to operate every night, ensuring that the information in Digital Reception matches care planning systems, such as the Digital Care System.
Choosing a care home is an important decision - prospective clients always check reviews before considering placing their loved ones. Integrated with Autumna, Digital Reception asks visitors to rate their experience across eight categories - the responses are instantly populated onto your Autumna premium profile, allowing ratings to be shared quickly and effortlessly.
Visitor details can be integrated into the Digital Care System to evidence who has visited each resident. When the visitor arrives, they can select which resident they are visiting (the system supports multiple residents being visited). Care home staff can see who has visited which resident, and for how long, with care notes updated with the visit in real-time. The system creates one care note on arrival and another care note on departure. The system creates one care note on arrival and another care note on departure as shown below:
