This Christmas season, the Wellness and Activities Platform is excited to present our very own 12 Days of Christmas! From 12th December, we’ll bring the classic Christmas carol to life with themed activities inspired by each of its iconic verses.  

Inside our special activity book, available on the Wellness and Activity Platform, you’ll find our top picks for each day, from engaging quizzes to creative crafts, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!

Below are the details on how to enter our competition:  

Choose any activity from our 12 Days of Christmas collection. Share your experience, achievements, or photos of the fun on social media by December 31st. 

Use the hashtag #12daysofchristmas and tag @PCSwellnessandactivities to officially enter. 

Our team will review all the entries and announce the winners on 3rd January 2025. We can’t wait to see your creativity and festive spirit in action! 

What are the 12 Days of Christmas activities? 

Day 1: Partridge in a pear tree Christmas decoration

 

On the first day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… a partridge in a pear tree! Get into the festive spirit by creating pear tree-inspired Christmas decorations with this fun and easy crafting activity!  

This crafting activity allows participants to create lovely “Partridge in a Pear Tree” decoration that they can proudly display on a Christmas tree. These instructions include all steps from preparing templates to decorating and assembling the final hanging ornament. This activity aims to make this a rewarding and enjoyable experience for participants. 

 

Day 2: Turtle dove meaningful message 

On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… two turtle doves! Celebrate the season of togetherness with this meaningful activity inspired by the two turtle doves, designed to foster connections and spread love this Christmas. 

Spread joy and connection during the festive period! Participants will write anonymous messages on “Turtle Dove Messages Resource Sheets” and exchange them with their paired partners. This activity promotes connection, kindness, and reflection during the festive season. 

 

Day 3: Easy chocolate yule log 

On the third day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…three French hens! Celebrate with a touch of French tradition by making this easy Chocolate Yule Log, a classic Christmas cake that's a festive favourite, especially in France.

Day 4: Name that winter bird 

On the fourth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…four calling birds! Celebrate this festive day with a fun and engaging Winter Bird Name Quiz, perfect for adding some feathered flair to your Christmas cheer. 

 

Day 5: Design and create a Christmas wreath 

On the fifth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… five gold rings! Celebrate this golden day with a creative and exciting wreath design and crafting activity, perfect for adding sparkle to your Christmas décor! 

Craft a Christmas Keepsake: Design & Create Your Perfect Wreath! Unleash your Christmas creativity with this two-part Christmas wreath activity! First, design your ideal wreath on paper, then bring it to life with ribbons, greenery, and ornaments for a festive, personalised decoration perfect for the season. 

 

Day 6: Festive egg decoration 

On the sixth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…six geese a-laying! Get creative with a fun and festive egg decorating activity. Unleash your inner artist with our Christmas-inspired designs and ideas! 

This festive egg decorating activity is a wonderful, hands-on way for participants to celebrate the season and enjoy creative expression.  

During this session, participants will decorate eggshells in various Christmas-themed styles. The activity is designed to engage participants with fun craft techniques and meaningful Christmas conversation. 

 

Day 7: Seven swans swimming sensory water activity 

On the seventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…seven swans a-swimming! Dive into the fun with our swan inspired sensory water activity, perfect for a calming and creative Christmas experience. 

This sensory activity allows participants to engage in a soothing Christmas themed experience. This activity is calming, tactile, and relaxing whilst encouraging gentle hand and finger movements. Participants will be immersed in a festive, comforting atmosphere. 

 

Day 8: Simple festive eggnog 

On the eighth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…eight maids a-milking! Stir up some Christmas cheer with our festive eggnog-making activity—a delicious way to celebrate the season. 

Get ready to stir up some holiday cheer with our Festive Eggnog making activity! This classic Christmas drink is rich, creamy, and full of warming spices that will get everyone into the holiday spirit. Not only is this a fun way to enjoy a traditional festive recipe, but it’s also a wonderful opportunity for participants to get hands-on and work together. 

 

Day 9: Christmas dance chain 

On the ninth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… nine ladies dancing! Join the festive fun with our Christmas Dance Chain activity—perfect for getting everyone moving and spreading Christmas cheer! 

Get together and enjoy a festive dancing game! Everyone takes turns adding a simple Christmas-themed dance move to a growing chain of moves, creating a fun group routine that anyone can participate in. The dance routine builds as each person adds their step, and the music keeps everyone in the holiday spirit! 

 

Day 10: Christmas carol quiz 

On the tenth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me… ten lords a-leaping! Leap into the Christmas spirit with our festive Christmas Carols Quiz—perfect for music lovers and Christmas fun. 

 

Day 11: Create festive pipe cleaner decorations 

On the eleventh day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…eleven pipers piping! Discover the joy of crafting with our fun and easy festive pipe cleaner creations—perfect for adding a playful touch to your Christmas decorations!

Day 12: Drumming and memory game 

On the twelfth day of Christmas, my true love gave to me…twelve drummers drumming! Improve memory and coordination through rhythm, repetition, and teamwork with our fun drumming memory game—perfect for a festive challenge. 

Improve memory and coordination through rhythm repetition and teamwork. Participants will sit in a circle and build a "drumming pattern" together. They will take turns adding to a rhythmic sequence that everyone in the group must remember and repeat. This activity encourages memory, creativity, and social interaction.
