Supporting the Care Workers’ Charity during Glad to Care week

Being there for the people who care for your loved ones

Person Centred Software, a provider of integrated solutions covering the full spectrum of care management, including the UK's most widely used Digital Social Care Record System, is hosting #GladtoCare Awareness Week!

#GladtoCare Awareness Week is a great opportunity to give a shoutout to all the fantastic care staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes in the care sector, making a real difference in people's lives.

About #GladtoCare Awareness Week

#GladtoCare Awareness Week, launched by Person Centred Software in 2018, aims to increase social care staff morale, show carers how much they are appreciated, and boost the profile of carers who work extremely hard with very little public recognition.

Held between the 12th and 16th of June 2023, #GladtoCare Awareness Week, hosted by Person Centred Software, will feature a range of fantastic activities, showcasing all the incredible work everyone involved in care does on a daily basis and naming and honouring our everyday heroes with an array of exclusive prizes.

If you want to get involved, register your interest for #GladtoCare Awareness Week 2023 and receive a FREE Toolkit!

Raising public awareness of its #GladtoCare campaign, Person Centred Software is also supporting the Care Workers' Charity (CWC), a non-profit organisation supporting individuals working in social care, offering a range of grants to support financial and mental wellbeing.

Supporting the Care Workers’ Charity

The Care Workers' Charity has been working hard to support care workers through times of crisis by supplying financial support, providing access to services and signposting resources. They are the only benevolent fund for paid care workers in the UK.

Person Centred Software has worked alongside The Care Workers' Charity for many years and values its work to support carers. During #GladtoCare Week, Person Centred Software is helping to raise money for the Care Workers' Charity by donating £2 every time somebody registers or downloads the #GladtoCare Toolkit.

Your kind contribution today can make a big difference by providing much-needed support to all the hardworking care workers across the UK.

Care Workers are among the UK's lowest-paid workers, yet they play a vital role in our ageing society. The Care Workers' Charity aims to promote parity of esteem with health, campaign and raise awareness of social care and provide insight into the issues affecting care workers.

Supporting care workers has a ripple effect within the social care sector and our society. Without care workers, those who rely on care and their families would suffer, and in turn, our national health system would struggle further and become more under strain.

The CWC grants have supported many care workers to stay in the sector when times get tough. Since 2020 they have supported over 8900 care workers with over £5 million in grants.

So, let's come together and show our utmost appreciation and admiration for all the devoted care workers who go above and beyond to fulfil their duties and care for your loved ones. These exceptional individuals truly deserve recognition for their unyielding commitment and hard work.
