Person Centred Software is celebrating having reached a major business milestone, after implementing its digital care management software at its 2000th site.
Treetops Court Care Home in Essex, which is part of the Harbour Healthcare group, has become the 2000th care home in the UK to adopt Person Centred Software’s award-winning Mobile Care Monitoring, in a move which will save each of their carers up to 3 days per month on paperwork.
Already the UK’s most widely used digital care management system in social care, the fantastic achievement further strengthens Person Centred Software’s market-leading position, which sees them currently supporting over 63,000 care home residents across the country. Following the implementation, there are now 200,000 care workers using the software daily to track, monitor and maintain exceptional standards of care in the UK.
Describing their reasons for implementing Mobile Care Monitoring, Peter Benham, Operations Director at Harbour Healthcare, said: “What Harbour Healthcare has in values it sometimes lacked in technology and forward-thinking. Before going digital we were completely paper-based, however, it was hard to effectively manage and monitor all 17 of our care homes this way. It’s very difficult to get good governance and oversight when you’re operating nationally with paper-based systems. I started looking into digital care management systems because I wanted to bring us into the 21st century and empower our teams to work smarter, rather than harder.”
After an initial 3-month trial at the company’s Belview site in Paignton, which saw fantastic feedback received from staff, Harbour Healthcare decided to roll Mobile Care Monitoring out across all of their homes. 12 of their sites are now reaping the benefits, with Treetops Court Care Home in Essex the lucky 2000th customer.
To mark the occasion, Person Centred Software surprised care staff and residents at the home with a celebratory cake this week.
Anthony Duhig, Head of Sales and Marketing, of Person Centred Software said: “Person Centred Software implemented Mobile Care Monitoring at over 50 care homes every month on average during 2020, which is a fantastic achievement especially given that we are amid a global pandemic. I am extremely grateful for all the hard work of my colleagues and loyal customers who have enabled us to achieve this outstanding milestone.”
Discussing how Mobile Care Monitoring has already impacted the business, Peter concluded: “Mobile Care Monitoring is very intuitive and easy for our professional care teams to use. I haven’t found a single member of staff who has struggled with it. It has driven remarkable efficiencies across our business, afforded our carers more time to spend with residents and allowed us to focus on delivering high-quality care. We look forward to continuing our partnership with Person Centred Software as we complete the software roll out over the next couple of months.”
