Improving health outcomes for all
Carehome.co.uk, the UK's leading care home directory and comparison website, recently held its annual Care Home Awards to acknowledge and recognise 20 of the top-rated care homes in each region of the UK and 20 of the top-rated care home groups in the UK. The awards are meticulously based on the care home's review score that carehome.co.uk has received from residents and their loved ones, which truly reflect their genuine experiences of the care home's services.
Person Centred Software is overjoyed to share the fantastic news that a large number of its customers have been listed in the Care Home Awards for both care homes and care home groups.
Andrew Coles, Chief Product Officer at Person Centred Software, comments on the Care Home Awards:
"The awards serve as a testament to the invaluable contribution care organisations make to the lives of their residents and their loved ones. It also highlights the commitment and dedication of care staff towards providing exceptional person-centred, compassionate and effective care, which positively impacts the overall wellbeing of the individuals they care for.
Congratulations to all the fantastic care homes and care home groups selected as the top-rated across the UK!"
Chris Babington, CEO at Elmfield Care, adds:
"As a recipient of the Care Home Awards, we are very proud to be recognised as one of the Top 20 Care Home Groups and one of the Top 20 Care homes in the South West; we take responsibility for our residents, families, and care teams seriously, and are committed to providing the highest quality care possible. Our commitment to excellence is reflected in everything we do, from our personalised approach to care and experienced care teams to our state-of-the-art software. From the very start, we have used Person Centred Software's digital social care record system, mCare, across all our homes, which gives our carers all the information they need to provide the best care to our residents.
The system is easy and quick to use, and our carers can record the care as they deliver it in real-time. From a management position, it's great as we always have a complete overview of what's happening across our homes. The system enables us to ensure our residents receive quality care, even when we're not in the home. mCare has also helped our audits to be much more manageable and helped with compliance and safeguarding, as the system gives us all the information we need to show the CQC that we are meeting regulations and delivering the care we promised.
From a technical standpoint, Person Centred Software is always trying to improve and integrate the system to medication and call bell systems, which we find very beneficial enhancements. The team at Person Centred Software is also very responsive to immediate requests or longer-term recommendations that help all our users".
Yitzi Bamberger, owner of Bryony Park Nursing Home, also adds:
We strive to continue improving the highest standard of care in our homes, as demonstrated by our recent achievement of 98% in an Infection Control Inspection (the highest grade ever given by the inspectors), which shows how important every part of the care process is to us.
We're able to record, assess and keep track of our residents' care plans and wellbeing using Person Centred Software's digital social care record system, which enables our staff and management to ensure all our residents' information is kept up to date and their needs are being met. Our motto is "BECAUSE WE CARE," and we really do!
Furthermore, to achieve the vision of Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), it's imperative to have multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) in place. These teams bring together health and care professionals to collaborate and provide care that takes into account all aspects of a person's health and wellbeing, Person Centred Software's interoperable digital social care record system helps with this because it can share residents' information safely and securely between health and social care services, enabling health and care professionals to have all the information they need when needed. Without the support of MDTs, ICSs would not be able to effectively achieve their objective of improving health outcomes for all".
